The three members of famed Cantopop group Grasshopper and six backing dancers were injured on the weekend when a stage at the Hong Kong Coliseum suddenly tilted mid-rehearsal.
Grasshopper members Calvin Choy, Remus Choy, and Edmond So and six female dancers were injured after they fell from an eight-foot tall CD-shaped hydraulic stage at around 5.30pm on Friday, Apple Daily reports.

A representative for concert organizer Big Honor Entertainment said Calvin Choy went to hospital for injuries to his tailbone. He was later discharged.
Two of the dancers were sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Yau Ma Tei for chin and foot injuries.
None of the other dancers or members of Grasshopper were hospitalized. Out of the band, only Remus Choy performed at the concert later that night.

The group was due to perform at the first of two concerts celebrating the career of singer-songwriter Andrew Lam.
Inspectors from the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department determined that the accident was caused by a mechanical error. The problem was repaired at around 7pm, after which the concert organizers had to submit an inspection report to the Leisure and Cultural Services Department.
The concert began at 9.23pm, roughly an hour after it was scheduled to start.
