A passenger who fell asleep on the bus threw a tantrum after the driver woke him up at the terminal, smashing the vehicle’s windows and claiming he was trapped.

The 50-year-old male passenger, surnamed Choi, told police when they arrived at the Central (Macau Ferry) bus terminus in Sheung Wan Sunday night that he was stuck inside the bus.

Earlier, the bus driver saw Choi still asleep on the bus upon it reaching the last stop and woke him up. In a fit, Choi grabbed the bus’ glass breaker and smashed the window opposite the bus door, HK01 reported. Lau then called the police.
