A photoset was posted on Facebook yesterday evening which showed a delightful mixture of sewage and water (a.k.a poo sludge) flooding Portland Street.

The photos were reportedly taken at 8pm, approximately 10 minutes after others reported flooding on the nearby Waterloo Road.

Maybe if the government worried more about burst pipes on main roads instead of on housing estates, we wouldn’t be in such a stinky situation. Just a thought.
