Burglars break into luxe homes for a Christmas spree

On Christmas Day, burglars broke into luxury homes in Happy Valley, Tai Tam, and Shouson Hill among other locations, helping themselves to valuables worth more than HK$2 million.

Houses burgled include a HK$78 million home of CDC Software Corp founder Peter Yip in Happy Valley, a house at Villa Rosa in Tai Tam, and a flat at Fairlane Tower in the Mid-Levels. 

At least one man has been caught after he was found driving a car with house breaking equipment.
