So this thief seems to have a thing for fashion as aside from the nearly HK$1 million crocodile skin coat he stole from Burberry, he also took five pair of shorts worth HK$5,450 from a Tommy Hilfiger shop.
The suspect, 37-year-old Kamal Rai from Nepal and his accomplice 31-year-old Bashir Osman, Pakistani Chinese were arrested for theft and handling stolen goods respectively.
The pair were heard at the Kowloon City Court today. Osman is released on bail of HK$20,000, Rai did not apply for bail.
