The two brothers who tried to extort money from Transformers director Michael Bay and his film crew last October have been jailed.
The younger brother, Mak Chi-shing, who tried to throw a punch at Michael Bay’s face with an aircon, was charged with assault and will be facing two and a half years of jail time. The older brother, Mak Chi-hang, was charged with resisting police officers and will be locked up for six weeks.
The two made a scene, and asked the film crew for more compensation money, at the Transformers film location when they were unhappy about the film crew causing an inconvenience to their electrical shop business. At first they tried to obstruct filming by blocking walkways and causing noise.
