During Mar. 31 to Apr. 3 this year, a 47-year-old surnamed Tse, accompanied his dead girlfriend who he killed accidentally at their Mong Kok apartment.
Police claim that Tse called the police reporting that his girlfriend, surnamed Wun, suffering from epilepsy, was unconscious. However, when paramedics arrived, they found that Wun was already dead, and have been for some time, reports the Oriental Daily.
Authorities then found tools used for taking crystal meth and reports that Tse knowing of his girlfriend’s epilepsy condition gave her crystal meth. Wun apparently took the drugs, had an episode and died on the evening of Mar. 31, reports the RTHK. However, Tse did not report the incident until Apr. 3, four days later.
Tse has been charged and arrested for manslaughter. The Kowloon City Courts have adjourned the case until Aug. 11 as the prosecution wishes to wait for Wun’s autopsy report.
