If you didn’t read about the recent campaign against TVB’s hegemony, read about it here. It seems that anti-TVB protestors against TVB’s television monopoly in Hong Kong is really taking effect and ratings prove so!
The viewing rating recorded for TVB’s anniversary celebration programme yesterday was 29 points on average, five points lower than last year. TVB expresses they are satisfied with the rating given the recent free TV license events.
However, TVB is expecting their ratings to increase as more people opt to watch TV programmes via their smartphones.
