Hong Kong Hoff Alert!
Since the end of David Hasselhoff’s reign on Baywatch in the 90s, the world hasn’t known quite what to do with the Hoff.
After he stopped gracing the world with his slow-mo beach runs, the self-aware actor-singer-entrepreneur has appeared in the SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, made his Broadway debut with Jekyll & Hyde, and released the 2015 single “True Survivor”.
And now, in 2016, he’s set to come to Hong Kong in all His glory to host the Sevens Kick-Off Concert on April 6! Also performing – though we’re obviously only going to go to see the Hoff – are the Proclaimers, Scottish rockers who will have traveled at least 500 miles to get here, and Bjorn Again, a “world-renowned ABBA tribute band”.
Gimme, gimme, gimme a man after midnight indeed!
The Hong Kong Rugby Union says this fans will see the “most expansive entertainment offering ever for the Sevens,” including the seven-day party at the Sevens Village right across from Hong Kong Stadium.
Limited pre-sale tickets for the six-hour concert (how long can you Hoff?) are available online today for only HKD199.
