Yesterday we reported a 54-year-old man stabbing his 53-year-old girlfriend to death in their apartment. In less than 24 hours, a 43-year-old man attacked his wife with a butcher’s knife as well – only this time, the husband died, not the wife.
Shortly before 6:00am this morning at a 12th-floor apartment at Lohas Park in Tseung Kwan O, a 39-year-old woman was attacked by her 43-year-old husband. He stabbed her while she was asleep until she awoke and ran out of the apartment. The husband continued to chase her onto the apartment complex’s sixth-floor platform when she sought help from someone there, telling the person “my husband stabbed me”.
The husband then suddenly jumped from the platform and was declared dead when taken to the hospital.
Apparently, the couple had a heated argument over family affairs the evening before. The couple have a six-year-old daughter and domestic helper at home but they did not witness the gruesome events.
Violence is never the answer to domestic dispute – if you’re ever pissed off and wanting to do something stupid, find a friend to talk to or walk-away from the situation before you do something you’ll regret for life!
