Hmmm…remember the six hammerhead sharks that died one after the other? Refresh your memory here. Well an animal rights group in Hong Kong wants people not to buy single tickets or annual passes for Ocean Park unless it meets a series of conditions on care of creatures at the park.
The Standard reports the organisers of the call for boycott are demanding the park announce deaths of creatures within 24 hours, the cause of death within seven days and post-mortem reports within 21 days. They also demand for a timetable to cancel all dophin shows and to meet with activists quarterly to discuss conditions of the creatures.
