Al’s Diner in Lan Kwai Fong attacked with red paint

While it might seem like the colour red is ubiquitous during this time of year, we somehow doubt the front steps of Al’s Diner were decorated with festive cheer in mind.

Staff at the popular Lan Kwai Fong watering hole were reportedly horrified when they found the façade covered in red paint this morning, something which is commonly believed to be a “triad warning”, as opposed to the contents of a jello-shot-lover’s stomach.

Oriental Daily reports that the owner of Al’s Diner suspects this is the result of shareholder disputes.

Police are currently investigating the case, and, equally importantly – Al’s Diner is operating as normal.
