Fans of An An, the male giant panda China gifted to Hong Kong in 1999, might have noticed that he has been missing from his enclosure in Ocean Park for the past two weeks.

According to a Facebook post from the theme park, it’s because his caretakers have found An An to be “in poor appetite and out of spirits to say hi to his fans” recently.

So, it’s calling for support and prayers for the 35-year-old, who has lived the equivalent of 105 human years.

“Let’s leave our blessing in the comment box below, or leave a ‘heart’ emoji❤️ to wish him a speedy recovery,” Ocean Park said in the post.

An An is currently the world’s longest living male giant panda under human care.

Giant pandas in the wild can live up to 20 years on average, while the lifespans of those under human care can reach 30 years.
