In the early hours of Tuesday, eight Hong Kong men were rescued after the fishing boat they chartered capsized in mainland waters.
The men had the brilliant idea of going fishing late at night in rough seas, and all eight fell overboard when the boat failed to stay upright in the high winds and swells near Dangan Island, reports Oriental Daily.
Luckily for them, a passing boat rescued the men from the cold water, and none were injured. Local authorities sped to the scene to bring the men ashore to the Aberdeen Marine Police Base.
There were reports that local fish had a celebratory dance party that night.
