Ocean Park just announced about 7.7 million people visited the theme park this year.
According to Ocean Park that’s about a nine percent increase in visitors, compared to last year, and a HK$1.9 billion revenue earned!
Ocean Park chairman, Allan Zeman, is happy with the numbers and expressed that the approved 500 room Ocean Park hotel will create more than 3,500 jobs during the construction period and when completed 500 job placements. The hotel will also hopefully add to the attractions in Hong Kong and promote more tourism.
The new Water Park, expected to open in 2018, will also create more than 2,900 jobs.
