A 15-year-old boy is in serious condition after he was allegedly beaten by seven other men in Lam Tin Park on Saturday.
The boy arrived at the park shortly before midnight planning to meet a friend, but was greeted by seven men armed with metal pipes, Apple Daily reports. After he was hit on the head and fell into unconsciousness, the attackers reportedly removed his shorts and underwear and fled the scene.
Five other boys aged between 15 and 19, all allegedly linked to the triads, were later arrested in relation to the attack. Police told reporters that they believe it was an act of revenge.
