Firefighters had to unhinge a glass door in North Point after a four-year-old boy got his hand briefly trapped yesterday evening.
Apple Daily reports that the incident occurred in Provident Centre, at around 6pm. A witness surnamed Chan said that she heard a child screaming, and turned to see the young boy with his hand stuck between a glass door and doorjamb at a piano shop.
The child was given sweets to eat as firefighters rushed to the scene. After approximately 15 minutes, the 10 firefighters managed to unhinge the entire door from its frame, freeing the rather red-wristed boy, who was taken to Eastern Hospital in an ambulance to be treated.
