A non-governmental organization has called on employers to reduce their staff’s working hours as a recent survey revealed only 30.2 percent of Hongkongers were satisfied with their sex lives.

Dr. Joseph Cho, a member of the Hong Kong Sex Education Association, conducted the survey by interviewing 1,071 people online between July and December 2016. Cho found that 18 percent of the male respondents, and 10.7 percent of the female respondents, were not happy with their sex lives, HK01 reports.

Out of all the respondents, 74.6 percent said their sex drive had diminished due to long working hours, academic responsibilities, and housework. Speaking at the eighth Hong Kong Sex Cultural Festival in Shek Kip Mei over the weekend, Cho said companies should reduce employees’ working hours to give them a better chance at sexual satisfaction.

According to the survey, respondents who categorise having sex as exercise have a higher rate of being sexually satisfied. The association believes these people are more concerned about the quality of their sexual experiences, Apple Daily reports.
