Three people have been hospitalised for smoke inhalation after a fire broke out in Wan Chai earlier today.
HK01 reports that the fire broke out on the eighth floor of 368 Hennessy Road at approximately 12:47pm.
At 1:03pm, the fire was upgraded to a number three, and the personnel from the Fire Services Department reportedly deployed two jets and two breathing apparatus teams to fight the blaze.
Parts of Tin Lok Lane, Tonnochy Road, and Hennessy Road have been closed to traffic, causing serious congestion.
Two elderly people and a Filipino domestic worker have reportedly been sent to hospital for smoke inhalation.

According to an onsite source, an air-conditioning unit crashed onto the road during the blaze.
