29 mainland tourists book four rooms then throws a fit

Inn at Chungking Mansions, Tsim Sha Tsui

29 mainland tourists from Fuzhou booked a Tsim Sha Tsui inn online and when they arrived, paid HK$8000 for four rooms and left their luggage at the inn to go to Disneyland since the rooms were not available yet. When they returned to the inn to check-in around 10pm they discovered that the 100 square feet rooms were to small to fit all of them and they started throwing a fit, screaming at the inn owner and refusing to let him go when it would have been a challenge regardless to fit five in a standard sized hotel room!

The police were called and the incident took five hours to sort out, with 29 furious tourists shrieking for a refund and pounding at the inn door while the police sought to hold them back. Eventually, the poor inn owner gave in and gave them more rooms for free as well as a partial refund to pacify the angry tourists.
