That’s right, you read that right. It was No Pants Subway Ride day today – we hope you all enjoyed the sight of 200 Hongkongers on the MTR with no pants.
Started by American group Improv Everywhere, the No Pants Subway Ride is an annual event in 60 cities worldwide that rallies people to ride the subway without pants.
This is the second year it has happened in Hong Kong and on the local Facebook page, more than 200 people agreed to participate, and met in Central today at 3:30pm.
There are only two requirements to take part: having the courage to forgo pants on the subway, and acting completely nonchalant about it. We think it’s a pretty awesome event!
