20-year-old attacked by 10 guys for flirting with girls at bar

A 20-year-old man, surnamed Tong, believed to be a triad member of the Shing Wo group, was beaten up by more than 10 men last night in Tsim Sha Tsui.

Tong suffered injuries to his head and was unconscious when he was sent to the hospital. After surgery he appeared to be awake but still in critical condition is being monitored in the intensive care unit.

Apple Daily reports that Tong went to a bar, managed by the Sun Yee On triad group, with some friends at Multifiled Plaza in Tsim Sha Tsui. Tong got into an argument with a group of guys when him and his friends were getting friendly with some girls at the bar.

Tong and his friends and the group of guys decided to take matters outside of the bar but found themselves outnumbered downstairs and was beaten with a shovel and gas tank. He was later found lying on the pavement unconscious by the police who are still investigating the incident.
