Partygoers in the city’s Lan Kwai Fong district witnessed an impromptu wrestling match in the middle of the street a few days ago when two men began brawling on the ground.
Video of the fight published by Apple Daily today shows two men in dark clothing pinning each other to the ground while a third man in a dark suit tries to break up the fight by tapping both men on the shoulder.
Didn’t work.
At one point in the video, the man standing can be seen on the phone, while the men on the ground appear to be in what is commonly-known as a nelson hold.
One of the men, presumably the one pinned to the ground, yells in English: “Stop bothering me! This guy’s bothering me and he’s fucking assaulting me!”
The third man tells one of the men to “let him go.”
While one man yells to call the police, the third man replies: “No! No one’s gonna help you, you’re the one who started it.”

It is not clear from the news report what prompted the fight and how the trio know each other.
The video was sent to the newspaper by an eyewitness surnamed Lee, who told the newspaper was hanging out in Lan Kwai Fong with friends when he saw the fight.
It is not clear from the report if the police were called, as Lee told the newspaper he left the scene a few minutes later, so he isn’t sure what the outcome of that fight was.
