Shun Lee Estate, Kwun Tong, where the teen took her own life
A 19-year-old teen girl, who grew up in a broken family, started having an emotional breakdown after her parents separated and lived apart.
She had been shuttled back and forth between both parents in the last six years, and had hoped that they will repair their relationship. Instead, her parents decided to divorce officially and after hearing the news, the teen was so traumatised that she jumped to her death from her mother’s 22nd floor apartment in Kwun Tong. Her parents had rushed to the hospital and are crushed by grief at her death.
