A 10-metre long giant whale washed up on the Tai Po Plover Coast yesterday, which has been dead for four to five days. 20 veterinarians and other staff from Ocean Park performed an autopsy and discovered that it suffered injuries to its stomach and head, and had fractured bones. It is believed that the whale died from human causes, perhaps from being tangled up in a fish net. It’s body had started to decay and had swelled up when it was washed up.
