Ten schoolchildren aged between three and six were injured after their school bus collided with a taxi yesterday at 7am.
The bus was travelling along Hung Lok Road in Hung Hom on its way to school when a taxi hit its right side, near the driver’s seat, reports Oriental Daily.
The bus was driven by 49-year-old man surnamed Liu, while the taxi was driven by a 60-year-old woman surnamed Lo.
Ten children – nine girls and one boy – were taken to hospital, where they were treated for thankfully minor injuries.
Though the two drivers were unharmed, the left front side of the taxi was completely destroyed. The school bus sustained some damage to its front right side.
The police are investigating the cause of the accident.
