Hong Kong Urban Exploration, also known as HK URBEX, has conquered yet another decrepit building, this time an abandoned psychiatric hospital, even though we’re pretty sure those are guaranteed to be haunted by tortured souls. The video is complete with cheesy special effects that might be more fitting for a secret mission for Tom Cruise rather than the adventures of a couple of bored guys with a propensity for trespassing in broad daylight.
The two explorers, with the super cool aliases “Echo Delta” and “Ghost”, venture inside the deserted halls of Castle Peak’s Siu Lam Hospital. It’s been out of commission since 2011 but evidently that’s plenty of time for nature to reclaim the land. Surprisingly, the elevators still work. It’s pretty cool to get a peek inside the hospital thanks to these intrepid explorers but otherwise, nothing much happens. It’s so uneventful in fact, that the video introduces a fictional component at the very end to spice things up.
