Veteran British photographer brings timeless stars to Hong Kong

Whether Brigitte Bardot with a cigar, David Bowie with a giant dog or Raquel Welch with her knickers down, pioneering British photographer Terry O’Neill has snapped what most of us can only dream of.

Brigitte Bardot

After emerging as a photographer of 1960s rock and pop music – notably with a couple of small-time bands called The Beatles and The Rolling Stones – O’Neill moved to the USA and became the top choice for generations of Hollywood stars looking for iconic portraits.

The therefore aptly-named exhibition ICONS brings O’Neill’s work to Hong Kong for the very first time. The showcase of 25 of his best-know photographs will be shining from the walls at the Central’s Picture This Gallery.

Just remember no-one looks that effortlessly cool in real life.
