Transformers: Age of Extinction world premiere to be held in Hong Kong

As one of the locations of the film, Hong Kong will host the world premiere of the fourth instalment of the Transformers movie franchise, Transformers: Age of Extinction.

Even though the film crew experienced some extortion attempts when shooting scenes in Hong Kong, and in one incident, a Hongkonger attempted to punch director Michael Bay in the face, the film’s publicist has confirmed that Bay and the main cast will be present at the world premiere in Hong Kong on Jun. 19.

Grammy Award-winning band Imagine Dragons, who’s song Battle Cry is featured in the film, will also perform at the premiere, reports the SCMP.
