Tiny but stylish Hong Kong homes wanted for TV show

If your flat is miniscule, but that hasn’t stopped you from jazzing up the place with your interior design skillz, then this may be your chance to finally show the world your beautiful, humble home.

Production agency BDA, which has made shows for HBO, NBC, Nickelodean and the BBC, is looking for “compact, stylish homes” for a show that will be aired on HGTV in Asia.

The TV series, which will showcase “the most interesting homes in Asia that use limited spaces (500 square feet or below) stylishly and efficiently”.

If you want your 15 minutes of fame (and show the world where you live), you’ll have to be available for a 10-12 hour shoot, including an on-screen interview, on April 6, 7, 8 or 9.

It’s not much notice, and that’s a long-ass shoot, but no one ever said that showbiz was easy.

Here’s an example episode.

If you’re ready to meet the world, here’s how to apply:

“To submit your home for consideration, send at least three photos of your apartment, the floor plan (if possible), a short bio of the owner(s), the inspiration/motivation behind the apartment’s design, and preferred date of shoot to Kyle Leung at kyle.leung@bdacreative.tv by 29 March 2015 (Sunday).”
