Foxglove

This jazz club and speakeasy will be welcoming in the new year with the help of Bloodest Saxophone, a sextet of Japanese jazz musicians who will be serenading partygoers with some soul and blues. Revellers can choose to either have dinner, free-flow drinks, or both. Dinner will be provided by Chef Tony Hung, who revamped the speakeasy’s menu from French bistro food to Cantonese banquet cuisine. Free-flow drinks on offer include Japanese whisky highball, premium spirits, house wines and craft beers. The dinner price also includes one glass of Krug.

Ho Lee Fook

This funky Chinese kitchen will start New Year’s Eve with an early diner with a number of classic a la carte dishes for small groups, or two different set menus for larger groups. There’s also a karaoke party for those who want to sing into the new year. You can grab tickets for karaoke from 10:30pm. Alcohol is free-flow and options include ow soju, sparkling wine, house wines, and beer.

Honi Honi Tiki Cocktail Lounge

Get your eight inch platform shoes, polyester glitter top and purple bell bottoms for this one, because Honi Honi’s gonna be partying like it’s 1979. Try and get in early if you want to get a free bottle of Taittinger champagne. We quite like their zombie cocktails, but remember not to drink too much though, they’re pretty strong and you definitely don’t want to wake up in 2019 feeling like death.

Fang Fang

This LKF restaurant, which we tried out earlier this year, will be serving up some delicious fusion food. Diners can welcome the new year with shrimp har gau, wagyu dumplings, stuffed crab shell with white cream sauce, king prawn rolls, honey pepper wagyu beef drizzled with honey pepper sauce and much more. Free-flow options include champagne, house wine, beer, spirits, and sake. This menu will also be available on New Year’s Day.

Gia Trattoria Italiana

This Italian restaurant will be serving up an a la carte New Year’s Eve meal that includes fried gnocchi pasta, smoked anchovies and burrata cheese; raw marinated scallops, green apple, melon and vanilla dressing; egg, porcini mushrooms, parmesan cheese and white truffle; risotto with red prawns, zucchini and Amalfi lemons in salt; sea bass “crazy water”, spiked squids, clams and herb sauce; beef fillet Rossini and potatoes “Maxim style”; stuffed Amalfi lemon and meringue; and stuffed traditional panettone. After midnight, they’ll be serving some “zampone and lentils.” Those who want to book a seat need to provide a deposit of HK$200 per person. This deposit is non-refundable for no-shows, or cancellations made within 48 hours.

They’ll be welcoming the new year with a six-course Italian spread that includes a seafood salad and grilled turbot. There will be free-flow alcohol and a DJ. French fine dining restaurant ON Dining will be serving a six-course menu that comprises cavia with lobster jelly; roasted langoustine with noodles, caviar and lemon sauce; poached eggs with sea urchins, spätzle, artichoke puree, and shaved alba white truffle; foie gras ravioli with light pheasant consommé, and black truffle melanosporum; and a bresse poularde (chicken that is 120 days old at the time of slaughter) with salsify, pear, and Japanese grapes. There will also be coffee, tea, and a DJ.
