That’s not Bruce Lee! Check out the new statue at Hong Kong’s Harbour City

There’s a new weird installation to gawp at while you’re waiting for your junk to arrive. Harbour City’s latest exhibition comes courtesy of KAWS, otherwise known as Brian Donnelly, a New York-based artist and designer.

Having previously exhibited his “Passing Through” statue here in 2010, the pop culture and character-inspired KAWS is back with his tallest offering ever (seven metres)…but it’s anyone’s guess what the hell it’s supposed to be.

Entitled CLEAN SLATE, this dude – vaguely reminiscent of Pirates of the Caribbean’s Davy Jones carrying a couple of mini-mes – will stand alongside other “Companion” characters seen at exhibitions across the world.

Catch the weirdness and decide if you like it more than, as much as, or less than the Rubber Duck until Oct. 19.
