That’s how we roll! Human-sized Snakes & Ladders in Hong Kong for community arts fair

If you’re a fan of Jumanji or have some other completely inexplicable reason for wanting board games to come to life around you, clear your schedule for the next two Sundays.

As part of the “Jockey Club Community Arts Biennale 2015: Fly the Flyover01 Exhibition” (which could really do with an acronym), a huge snakes & ladders game will be available for your amusement at Fly the Flyover01 in Kwun Tong this Sunday (May 17) and next (May 24).

Created by local graphic design duo Dirty Paper, the “human-sized” (as opposed to cat-sized) board game will feature newly created character E Mui, who we amuse you’ll be able to send up ladders and force down snakes to your heart’s content.

You’ll also be able to ogle at some chair-themed and cardboard box art created by local school children. Nice to see they’re stretching that HKD5 million funding from the Jockey Club to the max!

The exhibition will move to Island East ArtisTree from July4-24.

Where: Fly the Flyover01, 126 Hoi Bun Road, Kwun Tong
