If you’re single but would rather die than go to a standard speed dating event, how about adding a murder mystery game and staycation into the mix?

This summer, love lifestyle platform HKstyleCouple has partnered with Tung Nam Lou Art Hotel to organize a murder mystery game-themed speed dating event.

“Who is the Murderer? Speed Dating Staycation Experience” is a two-day-one-night event that will be held at the art hotel from June 24 to 25, June 25 to 26, July 1 to 2, July 2 to 3, July 8 to 9 and July 9 to 10, from 5pm to 3pm the next day.

If all slots are filled, organizers said they will hold additional sessions in July.

Players will be tasked with solving a murder case and arresting the culprit by exploring a carefully arranged hotel murder scene. Each player will be pre-assigned a role and a corresponding script.

During the game, players will also get to participate in activities including late night movie screenings, board games and a beer talk session.

Organizers promise that the event will be exciting, romantic and not your usual staycation.

The event costs HK$1,050 (US$134), which is inclusive of the hotel stay, a dinner and all activities related to the murder mystery game.

To register and find out more, fill in or click on this Google Form or contact HKstyleCouple and Tung Nam Lou Art Hotel.

The event is only open to singles. Men and women will sleep in separate rooms.
