Soak up the sexy summer vibes at Woobar’s Afro-Latin tribal party with DJ Atjazz

Stuck in Hong Kong for the summer and tired of seeing your friends’ vacation pics all over your Instagram feed? #sausagelegs anyone?
 
Fear not – Woobar is here to cure your wanderlust. On Friday, July 24, the swanky W Hotel bar will be transformed into a tribal-chic paradise for an Afro-Latin themed party with the internationally renowned DJ Atjazz working the turntable.
 
The folks at Woobar are calling it a “hedonistic, all-immersive themed party,” so we’re expecting the decoration work to be taken damned seriously.
 
Noted for his wide-ranging global influences and reworks of Bob Sinclar, Jazzanova and even Henry Mancini’s Pink Panther theme song, AtJazz promises his music will teleport you to Africa or Latin America… because they’re both so similar.  
 
A few local musicians are also lined up for the evening, including DJ Suru “The Saint” Long, Romi Behl, W’s music curator Arun R and, most appropriately, Afro-Latin percussionist Barnaby Bruce.
 
And of course, you are expected to dress to theme, so here’s a chance to finally go crazy on that leopard print you own.
