Are you fully vaccinated? Enjoy movies? Love free stuff?

Then you’ve got the lovely folk at MCL Cinema to thank. To encourage COVID-19 jabs, the cinema chain is giving out a whopping 15,000 free tickets on a first-come-first-serve basis starting Thursday 11 am.

Those interested can choose from five highly anticipated summer releases including “Black Widow,” “Space Jam: A New Legacy,” “The Boss Baby: Family Business,” “Jungle Cruise” and “Free Guy.”

There is a quota of 3,000 free tickets per movie. Each person can only register once and successful participants will be notified via email.

The tickets can be redeemed from July 7 to July 31 at K11 Art House, Festival Grand Cinema, Grand Windsor Cinema and MCL Telford Cinema.

Hong Kong cinemas have been rolling out promotions in recent weeks to attract movie fans back to their theaters. Cinema City is offering discounted tickets for the last shows of the day, while MCL’s “666” horror movie challenge is giving away free tickets to those who show their stubs for three thrillers currently screening in cinemas (“Spiral,” “A Quiet Place Part II” and “The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It”).
