Remember when we reported that only body doubles would be filming Ghost in the Shell in Hong Kong this week?
Turns out that was just a line to throw us off, because Scarlett Johansson and co-star Pilou Asbæk were seen filming on the streets of Yau Ma Tei today.
Footage of the stars and extras filming near Reclamation Street was shared earlier today by HK01.
While ScarJo has no public social media accounts and has therefore given no hints whatsoever that she was in town, co-star Asbæk hasn’t exactly kept his presence under wraps:

Johansson is playing Major Motoko Kusanagi in the feature film adaptation of Ghost in the Shell, a casting decision that has been called a prime example of “whitewashing”.
Asbæk, a Danish actor best known for his roles in acclaimed dramas like Borgen and Game of Thrones, is playing cyborg Batou.
