The newly unveiled heritage building PMQ (Police Married Quarters) in Hollywood Road, Central, is hosting a night market over four weekends from May to July. The market features international cuisines, live music as well as arts and fashion (lovely accessories and vintage clothing) from the city’s young, passionate designers and entrepreneurs.
Built in 1951, PMQ was the first dormitory provided for Chinese rank police officers in Hong Kong. The building underwent revitalisation in 2010 and was transformed into a creative hub that is home to over one hundred design studio shops and pop up stores.
The market puts local creative industries in the spotlight.
