Canto-pop sensation Mirror will hold their first-ever Hong Kong Coliseum concert this July and August.

In a press conference for the MIRROR.WE.ARE LIVE CONCERT 2022 on Tuesday, the 12-piece boy band announced that they will be having 10 shows at the prestigious venue in Hung Hom from July 25 to 31 and Aug. 2 to 4.

Tickets are priced at HK$480 (US$61), HK$880 (US$112) and HK$1,280 (US$163). Details on ticket sales will be announced at a later date.

On the title and theme of this year’s concert, band leader Lokman Yeung explained: “We want to invite everyone into our world to have fun during the concert.”

On what it is like to finally hold their solo concert at the Coliseum, Yeung and singer-songwriter Ian Chan said the 12,500-seat arena is a “sacred” place.

Heartthrob Keung To joked that the Coliseum is “very big”.

Jeremy Lee called the arena a place for singers to fulfill their dreams, while Edan Lui said it is a “milestone” to be able to hold their concert there.

Anson Lo, who recently took home the Gold Award for Male Singer and Song of the Year for his dance single Megahit at ViuTV’s Chill Club Awards, thanked fans for their support, without which the band would not be able to hold the concert at the Coliseum.

Jer Lau said they will be doing a lot of different things from their previous concerts.

Mirror held six sold-out concerts at Star Hall in the Kowloonbay International Trade & Exhibition Centre last May.

The boy band, formed through ViuTV’s singing competition King Maker in 2018, also swept nine awards at the Chill Club Awards.

All members were recently nominated for TC Candler’s 100 Most Handsome Faces.
