You might not know that you know Roland Clark, but believe us, you do.
The American songsmith/producer/DJ/vocalist has worked under numerous aliases over the years, including Houseboy, Keita, Jesus Jackson, People, Digital Pimps, Dark Clark, and South Street Player, as well as been part of best-selling groups Leviticus and Urban Soul.
Even if you’ve never heard of any of that cool stuff (you’re not alone), you’ll surely know him from collaborations with Fatboy Slim, Bobo Sinclar and Todd Terry, or even his entry into UK radio deejay Pete Tong’s Hall of Fame.
Still no bells a ringing? How about if we just say:
“We know what is what but we don’t know what is what, we just strut. What the fuck.”
Yeah, thought so.
Now finally deejaying under his own name, Roland Clark, the man whose sexy and soulful voice “proliferates throughout the realm of House Music”, according to his website, is appearing for one night only at Hong Kong’s KEE Club.
Get better acquainted with this mysterious man you already know so well.
