Not ready to let go of Clockenflap just yet? Don’t worry – we’ve got a hot tip for you. The Libertines’ Pete Doherty is playing a secret show with Spanish garage-rockers HINDS in Lan Kwai Fong tonight!
Having caught both acts live on Saturday, we can assure you that you absolutely do not want to miss tonight’s gig – we’re still kicking ourselves for missing The Libertines’ last impromptu show at BeatingHeart Studios. Tonight’s concert is organised by Songs for Children, who also arranged The Libertines’ last intimate concert, and Supersonic HK.

Doherty will be joined by Spanish band HINDS. To us, the Madrilean quartet strikes a chord of nostalgic garage rock somewhere in between The Strokes, Best Coast and the Dum Dum Girls, with a fantastically raw and a cheeky, almost girl-gang vibe to their performances (we refuse to kowtow to this #squad trend).
For those of you who missed Clockenflap but really wanted to go – what better way to brighten up your Monday after sullenly watching everyone spam your social media feeds (guilty)? Best of all, this amazing, intimate, secret gig will only set you back HKD100.
