Grammy-nominated comedian, actor, and New York Times best-selling author Jim Gaffigan will be coming to Hong Kong in March 2019 for his Quality Time Tour.
Gaffigan tweeted over the weekend that he’ll be bringing his stand-up show to South Africa, Canada, China, Taiwan, and Japan, plus Coconuts’ sister cities Bangkok and Singapore.
I’m so excited for my upcoming international shows in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Singapore, Tokyo, Taipei & Seoul. https://t.co/CyUzPIYAW5 Please tag any friends in these countries that might want to go. pic.twitter.com/OmANJRb7Yu

Gaffigan’s performances often center on his personal observations on family life, fatherhood, and food — this trio of topics, covered in his books Dad is Fat and Food: A Love Story, is what landed the comedian on the NYT bestsellers list twice — though it’s his critically acclaimed semi-fictitious television show, The Jim Gaffigan Show, that first brought him public recognition.
Gaffigan also has five comedy specials streaming on Netflix — King Baby, Beyond the Pale, Obsessed, Mr Pale, and Cinco.

Earlier this year, he released the stand up special Noble Ape, in which he discussed a medical crisis that befell his wife Jeannie — who co-produced The Jim Gaffigan Show — this year, which he says almost led to his retirement.
Tickets for the show, to be held at Hong Kong Polytechnic University’s Jockey Club Auditorium, are now on sale here for HK$788, HK$688, and HK$588.
