Jackie Chan says jail was so good for his son that he should ‘go back every year’

Jackie Chan reports that his son Jaycee is a better person after a six-month stint in jail for drug charges.

“He used to be lazy and not focused enough,” said the kung fu superstar in an interview with Oriental Daily, as reported by the Straits Times.

“Now I see him placing his shoes neatly, eating all the food his mother cooks for him, carrying bowls, folding clothes.”

He even joked to his son, “Why don’t you go back for half a year every year?”

“He said, you can’t go back if you haven’t done anything. I joked and told him to send in a request. It’s quiet there and he can write songs.”

Maybe he was just hinting that 32-year-old Jaycee should move out, start cooking his own food, washing his own clothes and… carrying more bowls.
