At a recent conference in London, the 59-year-old star met Prince William but confused him with his brother Prince Harry.
Chan congratulated Prince William on his trip to the South Pole but the Prince told Chan, it was his brother who had gone, not him.
Chan was later asked by the media about his confusion, and he said he made a mistake because the princes look so alike, “look almost same” reports ChannelNewsAsia.
Chan is the current President of the Hong Kong Performing Artistes Guild, the former guild president Eric Tsang was asked to comment on Chan’s mistake, and Tsang expressed, “At least he knew he was talking to a prince!”
