Fancy riding along with Iron Man as he fights aliens in Hong Kong? Of course. What else have you got planned for late 2016?
That’s when Hong Kong Disneyland is expected to open The Iron Man Experience, a 3D motion simulator set inside an upcoming Marvel-themed area.
A promo video showing Iron Man (AKA Tony Stark, AKA Robert Downey Jr.) flying through the streets around Victoria Harbour, West Kowloon and Central and blasting invaders from a distant land was played at the Disney Expo in California this weekend.
The background footage of Hong Kong’s cityscape and skyline was apparently filmed by a local production crew.
Weirdly, though, we didn’t spot any 7-Eleven or Sasa outlets. Maybe the future in Hong Kong is brighter than we anticipated.
