Hailing from South Korea, immersive media art exhibition “ARTE MUSEUM” is coming to Hong Kong on Oct. 7.
Having already been seen by 3.2 million people in South Korea, the acclaimed exhibition by digital design company d’strict features the theme of “eternal nature”.
The Hong Kong stop of the exhibition, titled “ARTE M”, is the first outside of South Korea. It will be held at the 9,149-square foot K11 HACC art space in Quarry Bay and will showcase a carefully curated collection of works from “ARTE MUSEUM”.
The exhibition hall comprises four separate spaces individually designed with distinct concepts displaying a total of six multimedia artworks reinterpreting elements and spaces from nature; such as the life cycle of flowers, endlessly crashing swells, boundlessly stretching seashores, and the jungle of a tropical rainforest.
The temporary exhibition, which will be on display for 15 months at K11 HACC, is expected to move to the 3.8 million-square foot one-stop entertainment, retail and commerce hub 11 SKIES when it opens next year or in 2024.
Tickets are priced at HK$128 for adults on weekdays and HK$148 on weekends and public holidays. Children aged 3 to 11, students as well as those aged 65 and above can get concessionary tickets at HK$98 on weekdays and HK$108 on weekends and public holidays. Infants aged below 3 can enter for free.
