Elton John to play Hong Kong on his ‘last ever’ tour

Time to get excited, because it’s just been announced that super famous massive smash hit music pop idol mega star Elton John is coming to Hong Kong on his “Farewell Yellow Brick Road Global Tour.”

Well, actually, you might want to pace your excitement just a little bit, tiny dancers, as the dates are a long way off.

A press release sent out today says the British pop icon plans to tour Asia in November 2019 with tickets going on sale a year prior.

The leg will cover Hong Kong, Tokyo, Seoul, and fellow Coco city Singapore, with “additional markets to follow.”

The three-year tour kicks off in September in the US and includes more than 300 shows across five continents, hitting North America, Europe, Asia, South America and Australasia.

Billed as his “last ever tour,” promoters promise a “musical and highly visual journey” spanning the artist’s 50-year career of hits.

“Performing live fuels me, and I’m ecstatic and humbled to continue to play to audiences across the globe,” he said in a not-so-exclusive set of comments included in the press release.

“I plan to bring the passion and creativity that has entertained my fans for decades to my final tour. After the tour finishes, I’m very much looking forward to closing off that chapter of my life by saying farewell to life on the road.”

Good for you Sir Elton. See you when you get here.
