British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, a.k.a. the music industry’s most famous ginge, is coming to Hong Kong this November for not one show, but two.

If you’re new here, you should know that it’s pretty unusual for international acts to stop for more than one performance. Even the two instances which come to mind — Ólafur Arnalds and Jimmy Carr — only extended their visits to accommodate demand.

The 26-year-old “No Scrubs” “Shape of You” singer wrote on his website today that he would be playing two local shows on Saturday, Nov. 4 and Sunday, Nov. 5. No venue has been announced yet.

Sheeran, who made his local debut in March 2015, will be visiting Hong Kong as part of his 2017 Asian tour. Other stops include fellow Coconuts cities Manila, Jakarta, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, and Bangkok, as well as Taipei, Seoul, Osaka, Tokyo, Mumbai, and Dubai. The Brit is touring to promote his third album, “÷” (pronounced Divide), which has spawned hits like “Galway Girl”, “Castle on the Hill”, and the aforementioned “Shape of You”.

In case you forgot what that sounds like (although we don’t see how), check it out again here:

We’ll update this page with more details as they come in.
