Don Don Donki is opening its ninth Hong Kong store in Whampoa Garden next week on August 17.
The beloved Japanese supermarket chain said in a Facebook post that the store will open at 10am.
It will feature a retro theme of Japan from the 1920s to 1980s with the site decorated like a traditional Japanese shopping street.
It will also be their first outlet in Hong Kong to feature teppanyaki Wagyu beef skewers and a specialty store where customers can pick individual dishes for takeaway bentos.
The Whampoa Garden outlet will include a Sen Sen Sushi, Donki’s sushi restaurant brand, and a Yasuda Seimai, its rice ball specialty store.
