Do they seem unrelated to you? Wrong!
If you can’t read a single Asian language, and have no plans to learn to do so, you might find it useful to be able to at least tell what script is in front of you – for example, to be able to tell the type of cuisine from a menu, or to avoid an accidental racist faux pas.
